​Having spent many years as a Dental Chairside Assistant in 2000 I decided to move my family to Dunedin for two years to complete my Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Otago University. Since graduating I have been working to assist individuals manage and maintain their Oral Health in my role as a Dental Hygienist here in Tauranga and it was with pleasure that I joined the team at Tauranga Dental House Dental in February 2017.

On a personal note I am married with two teenage children and enjoy many of the things living in the Bay of Plenty offers with friends and family.

Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical standards is important to me, with patient comfort a priority. Offering a gentle, pain free dental hygiene experience, as well as making sure you have an understanding of the disease process and interventions that can improve not only your oral health but overall health is all part of the service you will receive in your dental hygiene appointment.

Regular treatment with a Hygienist can maximise your oral health and minimise the possibility of dental problems developing.

If you are a new patient to the practice you will need to first see one of our Dentists to assess your overall dental health and then be referred to the Hygienist for treatment if required. Existing patients can make an appointment directly and I look forward to getting to know you and assisting you with your oral health routine.
